Flamingos Upscale Resale Store, formerly known as The Closet, was established in 1991. The store is  located at 107 W. Sixth Street, Tyler, Texas behind Joseph’s Catering. 

The resale store provides clothing for women and children who live in the shelter who are often forced to leave their homes to escape violence. Flamingos also has furniture, household goods and decor that are made available when women living in the shelter are ready to set up their own homes. 

Flamingos merchandise is for sale to the public and all proceeds support the many intervention programs serving clients of the East Texas Crisis Center.  Flamingos is unique in that the store is small and only the best donations are placed on the floor. We encourage clothing on hangers and do not accept donations after garage sales.
